How can one take serious pictures with a man like Everett? I've watched Everett grow up and to have the opportunity to share in this important event in his life, is a great blessing! Brittany has become a great part of my family as well, and they both hold a special place in my heart! When I was asked by Brittany to take the engagement pictures I was overwhelmed and felt honored! I wish these two all the blessings that God can give to a married couple!
The thing I love about taking pictures is that I partake and share in my subjects lives for that brief moment. I laugh with them, smile, and I learn so much about them through the whole session. The thing about Everett and Brittany is that they accept each other just the way they are and they enjoy being together. Thank you both for the opportunity, I hope that it was a blessing to you!
I saw the other photos and these are not my faves. But as you mentioned above, you were there and it makes these photos special to you. I understand that--we've talked about that.
ReplyDeletefirst photo, I wished the subjects wold have been more relaxed. 'graspy' comes to mind....so not a pleasing photo for me. Like the idea though. Try again at the wedding.
second photo, I'm drawn to his close eye...the focus is odd here for me. I saw other photos of them together that capture them better.
Knowing what Brittany was doing here makes me want to see her face better.
